Crafted in a 1,000-year-old Benedictine monastery near Pisa, this Chianti carries a legacy dating back to 1089 AD. Our vibrant blend, led by Sangiovese with touches of Ciliegiolo and Colorino, embraces ancient Roman winemaking traditions. A unique twist—aging in cement— imbues the wine with remarkable depth and structure, offering a sip steeped in history and rich with character.
Tasting Notes: A ruby red medium intensity, the wine is of good freshness on the nose with very perceptible fruity and floral notes. Pleasurable and versatile in its flavors with a balanced acidity and ripe balanced tannins.
